The hotel's location near the port and just next to a church made it convenient for transportation and exploring the seafront in Puerto Ayora. The hotel itself was located in the center, which made it easy to access various amenities and activities. The staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel at home. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel and the facilities provided were commendable.
Almost perfect.

The hotel is located in a convenient spot, near the port on a side street. It's just a short walk to the seafront in Puerto Ayora. the staff are friendly and helpful, providing a ramp for wheelchair access and assistance to the swimming pool. the rooms have refreshing air conditioning and there is a small pool with a great view of the dock area. the breakfast option nearby is highly recommended.
There can be some noise from the nearby church during events and services, which may disturb some guests.

We loved the location of the hotel, right in front of the main port, making it convenient for catching boats. The hotel is also situated close to a supermarket, ATM, and offers a great breakfast. The staff, especially the manager Andres, were extremely friendly and helpful. The small pool overlooking the dock area was a fun hangout spot, where we enjoyed watching the boats and sea life. The air conditioning in the room was fantastic, providing much-needed refreshment after long days out.

Loved the cozy atmosphere of the hotel, it added to the romance of our escape. the breakfast served was delightful, fresh and filling always. We enjoyed the convenience of the hotel's location that was a mere stone's throw away from the activities and action in the area.
The hotel was not kept in good condition; the furnishings were dated and shabby and water leaked from the shower tiles.

Had an amazing Christmas vacation with great complementary gifts in our cozy room. The location was ideal, walking distance to the pier and main street. The staff was very attentive and responsive to our requests.
Some nights we were bothered by noises from the nearby church as it hosted events and services. However, this did not happen every night so it was not a big deal.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. It is located just a short walk away from the seafront, which was perfect for me as I love spending time by the ocean. The room was comfortable and had great air conditioning, which was a lifesaver after long days exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The location was also convenient, with a supermarket and ATM nearby. a fantastic experience!
The only downside was that there was a church located next to the hotel, so on some occasions, I could hear the sermons and music from events being broadcasted loudly over speakers. But it didn't impact my overall experience too much.

The hotel had a great location, right in front of the main port/dock, which made it convenient for catching boats. There was also a supermarket and an ATM right next door, which was very convenient. The staff, especially the manager, were friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. We enjoyed hanging out by the small pool that overlooked the dock area, watching the boats and sea life. The air conditioning in the room was a big plus, especially after long days out exploring.
That the hotel was located next to a church, which meant some nights we could hear the sermons and music from events and services conducted with microphones. It could be a bit noisy at times.

We were initially allocated a second-floor room, which wasn't accessible for a wheelchair. However, the staff at Hostal Castro Galapagos were incredibly understanding and changed our room to the first floor. They even built a ramp for the hotel entrance and helped my husband get to the swimming pool. Their attentiveness and assistance made our stay truly exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel.
